One of my favorite things to do is peruse a friend’s personal library. It’s fascinating to me, and I think it truly is one of the best ways to begin to get to know someone fast. Some of my best conversations with new friends have started in front of either theirs or my personal bookshelf.
Wow! I’m so impressed that you read ten books this summer! My reading drops waaaayy off every summer, but especially this one with a big move and the gift of having all five kids home for 2.5 months. The best books I’ve read recently are Between Two Kingdoms and Dearly Beloved. I just bought two of Harrison Scott Key’s books, How to Stay Married and The World’s Largest Man.
