The Temporary European
A quick Saturday "hello" and book rave
Happy weekend, travel friends!!!
I never want it to end and I just started!
I rarely recommend a book until I’m well into the chapters, but this one…I can’t wait. It happened to me while reading Tsh Oxenreider’s, At Home in the World, and I can already tell it’s about to happen again. I’m never going to want this book to end!
Maybe it’s because I have a love affair with Eastern Europe like the author, Cameron Hewitt, that I’m already falling for this book. Straight out of the gate he started telling stories of Slovenia and Krakow and I’m already tempted to purchase a return ticket to these countries and leave next week.
Potentially it’s because my attention span when reading has shrunk significantly in recent years. Each chapter seems to stand alone and transport the reader to another location in the world, making it possible to “travel” in short, delectable spurts.
Whatever the reason, I am already addicted to this book and can’t wait to read more. That’s exactly what I’ll be doing for the rest of this weekend!
Check it out to see what you think!
Happy Travels!
