Frequent Flyer Quick Tips of the Day
The two best frequent flyer credit card offers out there right now
Happy Weekend Travel Friends!
I’ve got another newsletter in the works that will be coming your way really soon as a followup to last week’s presence practice audio. As for today, I wanted to take a quick minute to send out a couple of great deals that you might want to take advantage of this weekend.
Taking the leap into the frequent flyer credit card game and harnessing the power of “almost free” travel was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. So when I see a fantastic frequent flyer deal, I can’t help but want to shout it from the rooftops to everyone I know.
Of course, we can talk for endless hours about the pros and cons of credit card usage. If you’ve followed along with Big Story Living, you know I don’t take these decisions lightly. It’s a big responsibility to use a credit card, and you have to be prepared to handle your finances with intention and order. BUT….
Assuming you are ready to take the frequent flyer credit card leap…and assuming that you are wishing for someone to share with you how to make your travel dreams come true when you feel they never will…I’m here to tell you that today is a great day to jump in.
These are my current top recommendations to get you started on the path towards your very own travel freedom…

American Airlines AAdvantage Citi Card with a whopping 75,000 mile sign-up bonus
Bilt Mastercard where you can get points for every dollar spent…EVEN on RENT
Except for having a fat bank account at your disposal, nothing gets you traveling faster than frequent flyer miles.
Credit card bonus deals come and go quite quickly. You can never predict how long a prime opportunity for great signup bonuses will last. Often the best ones only stick around for about a month. SO…
Grab one of these while you can and start planning your dream travel itinerary… because if you do, it’s going to happen sooner than you think!
Amy Approved
I want you to know that I would never suggest something to you that I don’t use myself. I have been a loyal AAdvantage Citi Card holder for years. It quickly set me on my very first European adventure, and it’s what I use to this day as our family’s every day, go-to card. No airline gets me to and from Europe during my favorite travel months on less miles than AA, and that’s why I love it.
Example: This year alone I’m flying to Europe TWICE, Puerto Rico and NYC for less than $325 TOTAL!
As for Bilt, I just discovered this card a few months ago, and now I use it every month to pay our rent. There is NO annual fee and we’re finally getting something for money that once felt thrown out the window on rent each month. It’s a perfect place to start the frequent flyer game with no annual fees while making your rent dollars a little more worth it.
What’s the Perfect Recipe?
In my opinion, the perfect recipe is to begin with the Citi AAdvantage card right now before the 75,000 sign-up bonus deal disappears. You can use the miles immediately to travel to Europe and back and still have 30,000 miles towards your next adventure. To me, this card is a complete no-brainer. Its $99 annual fee is inconsequential when you consider that you don’t have to pay for checked luggage, you get priority seating AND all those miles.
Next, add Bilt and take advantage of the points you’ll get for paying rent for no annual fee. That is IF you pay rent. All of your Bilt points can be transferred to American Airlines when you’re ready to fly, causing your AA mileage bank account to accumulate SUPER fast. (Bilt also transfers to lots of other airlines and hotels.)
You’ll be taking your bucket list journey of a lifetime in no time!
I’m Going to Need Some Help!
I get it. This seems like a lot, but trust me. If “almost free” travel is your dream, you can do this! Take the leap. Get approved for one of these cards. Then just get in touch with me. I’m here. Comment away. Send me all your questions. Nothing makes me happier than helping you to understand the frequent flyer game and plan your first exciting “almost free” adventure.
Happy Travels,
Amy
