More Than a Vacation
The Big Story Living 2024 Journey Registration season is soon coming to an end. Our November Budget Travel Curated Journey filled quickly in February, and this year’s group is set for a grand adventure to Munich, Salzburg, Ljubljana, and Rome this fall.
BUT, there’s still time to treat yourself or a woman you love to a December journey that is just as much about caring for your soul as it is about experiencing the joys and wonder of the Advent season in Europe.
Together we will wander among Christmas markets in four different countries and savor the sights, smells, and sounds of a European Christmas, all while traveling with one eye on the world and the other eye on Jesus as we go. I'd love for you to join us as we take time to steward our own souls, get swept up in the rhythm of the cities, and find joy in the twinkling lights and magic of the holiday season.
**Unfortunately this journey has been cancelled until next year, but watch this space for more Big Story Living Curated Journey opportunities coming your way in 2025.**
The 2025 calendar of events and registrations will be available July 2024.
The No-Brainer Card to Fast Travel If You Pay Rent
I’m forever pushing this credit card to everyone I know who dreams of more travel in their life and finds themselves as renters in today’s economy. Rent is expensive, and it can be so frustrating to make those payments every month while experiencing very little long-term return for your hard-earned money.
BUT, there is a small, yet significant, silver lining for us travelers.
There is ONE credit card that allows you to use it to pay rent. In turn, you actually get points for airfare and hotels each month, and it finally feels like renting has a benefit that at least equals a quickly earned holiday with no annual fees or hard work.
I use the Bilt card because we, too, find ourselves in a renter’s world in this chapter of life. Since using Bilt to pay our rent, we have earned multiple one-way trips to Europe on AA, as well as points to pay for two one-way tickets from Rome to Dublin this fall.
Most travel cards have an annual fee, but not Bilt.
There’s no sign-up bonus, but who cares? Your rental payments will finally start counting for something, and for me, that’s bonus enough!
Here’s the link to the Bilt Credit Card. I’m happy to answer any questions you have before signing up. And yes, if you use the link here, I will receive a few bonus miles when you are approved, which is hugely appreciated. Still, know that I would never recommend a card that I don’t personally use and love. This is a great and unique one…and the perfect way to start boosting your 2024 travel dreams fast.
Happy Travels!
